Very durable Backpack December 7, 2009 Robert M. Ruzanski 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This pack is built very well and has a ton of storage space!! Doesn't have a internal frame but it does have a plastic support that goes up the back of the pack to keep in rigid. Very comfortable back padding and straps.
Great Value June 28, 2010 mguy808 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First off this is no North Face backpack. The internal frame is flimsy plastic and the buckles and straps are of lower quality. But the only reason you are reading this is becuase you are cheap like me. I bought this pack to do a three day hike through Haleakala on Maui with my son. When I purchased, it was under 40 dollars delivered, and I live in Hawaii. It carries a lot of gear and I had it loaded with about 50 pounds. It has 3 nice external zipper pockets that made for easy access to water and snacks. The first day was 10 miles with some steep sandy trails and up and down lava fields. The pack stayed nice and firm to my body and kept the weight on my hips despite all the twisting and turning. The shoulder straps did grind in a little. Openning and closeing the chest stap changed the pressure points on the shoulders. The real test of this pack came on the last day. My son felt sick and could not carry his pack which weighed about 18 pounds. I strapped his $160 Mountain Hardware pack to mine using the four anchor points on the very top and proceeded to hike out 10 miles, including about 3000 feet of verticle. I thought for sure that this pack would break under the weight. It handled like a champ no buckles broke no straps pulled out. I don't know how many more journeys like that it can take but it looks to be in pretty good shape. One of the buckles did break because of the airline baggage handlers. You do have to use caution when yanking on straps. I have to give this pack a 5 star review because for 40 bucks it did a great job.
Very good and large enough to carry my stuff. December 15, 2008 Peter Mwangi. 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very large enough for my camping and hiking activities. The colours are magnificient and i just love looking at it.
I could fit my couzin into this January 19, 2010 Muhammad Riaz (United Arab Emirates) the back pack as it say is extreme it is huge at times it is almost overkill i bought this for our camera and tech equipments and some survival stuff and man there is still too much space left i packed in a tripod, camera ligts, microphones, camera, flash light, emf meter, rope, leatherman tools, water bottle, a wooden really wide and tall Ouija board ( that says a lot doesnt it) and still there is space left.
the only con i guess with this is that the shipping weight is a lot the product is the cheapest and best you can get but if you live like m in UAE and ship a product like that ithe shipping cost more than the product which i did not anticipate. but at the end it is all worth it. it is a perfect bag but you have to see what you are buying this for this definitely is no school bag.
Huge bag. July 10, 2010 Max Herbik I purchased this bag to hold all my camping supplies and to my suprise they all fit in this bag. The straps are comfortable and highly adjustable. The bag can hold lots of things but sadly there is no internal frame. Theres no zippers so jamming won't be a problem. Also has many pockets of different sizes. Amazing bag for the price.
