I have purchased from High Sierra before and their bag lasted from highschool on into college before I the zipper failed on me and some of the stitching on the shoulder pad was ripping out. This bag is great, fits several books, several notepads and a small binder. I have plenty of room for my calculator, pens, pencils, tissues, sunglasses, two water bottles, and a pack of gum for when I start to fall asleep in class. I use it everyday and everywhere I need to go, whether it's school or I'm off to another country. High Sierra uses rip-stop fabric that holds up incredibly against the day-to-day grind.
This is the bag for kids to take everything they need to school! March 3, 2008

This messenger bag was exactly what I wanted. Both the size and color are perfect. My kids have had problems fitting notebooks into the size of most backpack made these days and they would die before pulling a backpack with a handle. A three ring binder fits easily in the messenger bag and the second opening fits my daughters lunch box. Both compartments have room to spare. The smaller pockets and the zipper pocket on the flap give tons of storage. The shoulder strap is padded for comfort and adjusts. This is a great bag! The quality is there. This isn't going to fall apart any time soon. Your kids can actually fit the things that they need to take to school in it. This was a REALLY good find!

I bought this bag for my daughter who is a freshman in high school.
She is pleased to use it every day. She said that the bag has useful pokects, comfortable shoulder pad, and ample space to put anything even the lunch box. I also like the weight, it is light comparing to the backpack that my duaghter used to carry. We looked at many other bags, but this turned out to be the best choice!

I have been looking for a quality bag that is easy to carry on the bus for my commute. I was a little surprised how big this bag is, but I learned to love it for the extras. There are great pockets. I can carry anything in it. On the weekends I use it to transport a Wii, with tons of games and accessories, to friends houses and then switch to lunch and books for my commute into the city during the week.

Well i just received my bag in the mail. now with out going in to much detail i am going to tell you this is a GREAT bag for its price.. i noticed that laptop bags and camera bags are all VERY expensive none of them do what i wanted them to do ... i also have a Daughter who is still in diapers. which i need to bring with me. i can fit EVERYTHING in this bag. heres a list of everything i put in this bag and fits... Now i am not gunna say that after you put all of this in there that its extremely light but lol i fit it all comfortably.

I think this is a great bag i dont keep all this in there all day but when i am going from house to house i put that stuff in there and away i go...
other wise im just going to use it as an every day (purse) bag. something that i can keep my camera's my book some school supplies and my daughters stuff in when i go out of the house. all in one safe place.
